December, 2005. EMPOWERED WOMEN INTERNATIONAL has been selected as "one of the 55 smaller, yet exceptional charities" to be included in the 2005 Touch DC Fall Giving Campaign. DC Examiner in collaboration with Touch DC created the Every Penny Counts series of articles to feature non profits in need of support. EWI is one of the five non profits that will be featured every Wednesday throughout the month of December with a new story related to our work and the community we serve.
